Next Meeting: Thursday June 22, 2017

The next meeting of the Great Basin Elks Lodge #1472 is on Thursday, June 22 at the Masonic Lodge in Elko. Doors will open at 5:00 PM for social hour, with a potluck dinner beginning at 6:00 PM. The meeting will include initiation of new members and begins at 7:00 PM. Please plan to come and support your new Elk members.

For the potluck, we would like everyone to bring cool salads and desserts. Salads can be anything – green salad, veggies, meat salads, pasta – just as long as they’re cool and refreshing! It’s supposed to be warm so let’s stay cool! See you there.

AG for a Day in Elko on June 22

The AG for a Day Program that will be held in Elko on June 22^nd – 11:45am at Great Basin College, Room GTA-130.

Flag Day Ceremony on Sat June 17, 2017

Flag Day, June 14, is a very special day in Elkdom. It is a chance to learn about our Flag’s history and to honor that history. Our Flag Day ceremony has been scheduled for Saturday, June 17 at 9:00 a.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Elko. The Reno Lodge will be in attendance and will supply flags and printed rituals to read.

This event is open to the public so please bring friends and family to enjoy the event. A BBQ will follow at 12:00pm at the Griego home located at 673 9th Street, which is across from the High School just down the street from the Lodge.

Please make every effort to attend this important Grand Lodge event to honor our Flag and its history.
