3rd Annual Elks Campout
Lamoille Canyon, Nevada
August 3 – 5, 2018
Spend a weekend in beautiful Lamoille Canyon and enjoy the company of Elk from all over Nevada. Lamoille Canyon boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the state. Bring your family and enjoy the hiking, fishing, and sight-seeing opportunities in the “Alps of Nevada.”
The campsite is located in Lamoille Canyon at the Lion’s Club Campground, a short drive from Elko, Nevada. Available for camping are sites for any size RV, tent camping, or rent an A-frame shelter equipped with lighting (bring your own sleeping and camping accommodations.)
While there are no hookups for RVs, there is water and power at the campground, full service bathrooms (including showers), fire pit area, lodge kitchen and dining room, lawn, hiking trails, creek, horseshoe pits, scenic views, and Best People on Earth.
Friday & Saturday Nights:
Margarita Bar fundraiser, $5/drink, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., hosted by Great Basin Elks Scholarship Committee, bring-your-own-hors d’oeuvres to share.
Saturday & Sunday Mornings:
Coffee, juice, and assorted pastries 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. (free to all attendees)
Dinner hosted by Great Basin Elks, $15/person, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Must pre-register for dinner. Raffle table with local goods – drawing held after dinner, raffle tickets available on site, followed by group campfire at amphitheater and eleven o’clock toast.
