Our regular meeting this Thursday, April 13, will be held at the Elko Masonic Lodge.  Doors will open at 5:00 PM and the meeting will begin at 7:00 PM as usual.  This will be our business meeting of the month with our newly installed officers.

The next meeting of the Great Basin Elks Lodge #1472 is on Thursday March 23, 2017.  Please join us for our Blue Pig Dinner and Installation of Officers.  We hope to see as many Great Basin Elk as possible to help kick off the new Elk Year and welcome in your new Officers.

Doors open at 4:00 PM for Social Hour(s), dinner will be served at 6:00 PM, the lodge Meeting and Ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM.  Officers should wear Black Tie Formal (if they have it), Members should wear Business or Semi-Formal attire.  Guests are welcome to this event!

Membership cards for those who have already paid their dues will be available for pick-up.

The next regular meeting of the Great Basin Elks Lodge 1472 will be on Thursday, March 9 at 7:00 PM at the Masonic Lodge in Elko, NV.  Doors will open at 5:00 PM for social time.  Also, remember that it’s time to turn in your State Major Project / Building Fund BLUE PIG to be counted for the March 23 meeting and awards dinner.  If you can’t make the meeting to turn in your PIG, you can drop it at the H&R Block office at 331 11th Street, Suite 112 in Elko.  Debbie Lindsey will take possession of the Pigs to be counted.  The three top donators will receive an award at the March 23 Blue Pig / Officers Installation Dinner (plan to attend – Jimmy Holdren is cooking!)

The next Great Basin Elks #1472 Lodge meeting will be held on Thursday, February 23 at the Masonic Lodge in Elko as usual.  Doors will open at 5:00PM, potluck dinner at 6:00PM (theme is described below), and the meeting will begin at 7:00PM.

February is the time for elections, so if you have an interest in a position, please attend the meeting and make your wishes known.

Our Food Master asks that everyone bring a heart-healthy dish, or a dish that means Love, in honor of February and Valentine’s Day, for our potluck dinner.  This is always a good time with great food, so plan to bring something to share and pass the time with your fellow Elk!

The next Great Basin Elks #1472 Lodge meeting will be held on Thursday, January 26 at the Masonic Lodge in Elko as usual – the heater has been repaired.  Doors will open at 5:00PM, dinner at 6:00PM, and the meeting will begin at 7:00PM.  It should be a short meeting this week.  February is the time for elections, so if you have an interest in a position, please attend the meeting and make your wishes known.

Our Food Master, suggests comfort foods for dinner, so bring your most comforting food (casseroles, bread, salad, dessert) and come share a meal with your fellow Elk before the meeting.

The next meeting will be on Thursday October 27, 2016.  Doors open at 5:00 PM for social hour at the Masonic Lodge in Elko, Halloween Theme potluck dinner at 6:00 PM, and the regular meeting will begin at 7:00 PM.

VIPs will attend our meeting and a number of exciting events to take place during our regular lodge meeting!  Hope you can make it to this next meeting.
